AutoFTP does not connect. What can I do?
If you are using a direct Internet connection (e.g. LAN, a cable modem or ADSL) make sure "Use Auto Dialing" option in File/Preferences is unchecked.
If you have a firewall or proxy server fill in all Proxy options in File/Preferences/Proxy. If AutoFtp still does not connect try the following:
- Set Remote Host to your proxy server address;
- Set User Name to your ftp account user id followed by the address of the ftp server you are connecting to e.g. "myuserid@ftp.myftpserver.com"
- Set Password to your ftp account password.
